Jeffco Eats, is an organization formed in 2016 as a 501 (c)(3) non-profit whose mission is simple. We strategically function as a year-round weekend food program provider in partnership with Food Bank of Rockies and the Jefferson County Department of Education Title One Department. We help kids and families eat by providing food over the weekends to ensure that no child goes hungry in Jeffco Title One Schools, GAP schools, Section 8 apartments, rec centers, parks, and Head Start programs. We will never stop working towards this goal! Therefore, we are looking for a Fundraising Coordinator.This position would be a new, volunteer position to our organization, and would work side-by side with the Board of Directors. The Fundraising Coordinator would be responsible for the following duties:
-Following up on potential donor leads
-Build positive relationships with potential and existing donors
-Plan, organize and host fundraising events for the organization
-Represent Jeffco Eats at local fundraising events
-Send current and potential donors a newsletter on a quarterly basis to keep them informed of how organization is doing using Constant Contact Newsletter Platform
-Network within the community to build strong relationships with potential donors
-Generate leads to build Corporate donors
-Must be a personable, compassionate individual with exceptional listening skills, high energy
Prefer at least 1-2 years’ experience in a professional fundraising capacity, with a proven record of raising significant funds for an organization. Bachelor's Degree preferred, but not required. Also has the possibility of picking up additional duties in Marketing. We will also consider students working towards degree.
