The YMCA of Metropolitan Denver is looking for passionate community members to serve on our Leadership Committees.
Committees include:
• Mission and Programs
•Youth
•Lifestyle Medicine
•DIG/Social Impact
•Advocacy
•Wellness Center
• Experience Committee
• Philanthropy/ Fund Development
•Young Professionals Board
•Campaign
•Events
• Marketing/Communication
• Real Estate and Capital Assists
•Contract Management
These committees will be made up of both Board and non-Board members. All committee work is done in partnership with and through the leadership of assigned staff, who will be chosen by our president and CEO. The committees do not assume the authority of the Board, and neither direct nor oversee staff. Committees are able to determine meeting frequency and locations, but the estimated time commitment is 1-5 hours per month. Committee members can also join meetings virtually!
Please note that all Leadership Committee applicants will be asked to fill out an additional application, provide references, and be able to pass a criminal background check.
