Project Send It (PSI) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to introducing children to the benefits of rock climbing and the values of healthy risk-taking. Founded in 2019, PSI utilizes the local climbing community to provide underserved families with resources for physical activity and personal growth. Our mission is to build healthier kids and stronger communities through climbing.
Position Overview:
The Director of Fundraising in the Cascadia Chapter will play a crucial role in developing and executing strategies to secure the necessary funds to support PSI's initiatives. This position involves building and maintaining relationships with funding partners, identifying new donor bases, and collaborating with other PSI directors to meet organizational goals. The ideal candidate will be passionate about PSI’s mission and bring creativity and dedication to the role.
Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement fundraising strategies to support PSI’s mission.

Cultivate and maintain relationships with existing and potential funding partners and organizations.

Research and apply for grants that align with PSI’s goals.

Plan and execute fundraising events.

Collaborate with other local and national Directors of Fundraising to ensure cohesive efforts.

This is an unpaid volunteer position.

Estimated time commitment: 3-6 hours per week.

There is potential to divide the workload between multiple volunteers.
