Founded in 2019,, PSI utilizes the local climbing community to provide underserved families with resources for physical activity and personal growth. Our mission is to build healthier kids and stronger communities through climbing.
Position Overview:
The Grant Writer will work closely with the Board and Chapter Presidents to identify and secure grant funding that supports PSI’s initiatives. This role is essential for maintaining and expanding our financial resources, allowing us to continue offering climbing-related programs and scholarships to underserved youth. The ideal candidate will be skilled in research, writing, and grant management, with a passion for PSI’s mission.
Key Responsibilities:

Grant Identification: Collaborate with the Board President and individual chapters to identify potential grant opportunities that align with PSI’s mission and objectives.

Proposal Writing: Prepare and write compelling grant proposals, including narratives, budgets, and supporting documentation.

Grant Management: Track and manage grant applications and reports, ensuring compliance with funder requirements and deadlines.

Research: Conduct research to stay informed about funding trends and opportunities relevant to PSI’s programs and goals.

Collaboration: Work with other PSI directors and stakeholders to gather necessary information and insights for grant proposals.

Estimated time commitment: 3-5 hours per week. Variable, depending on grant application timelines and funding opportunities.
