About the Event

Our Mission:

We work with community to meet people’s immediate need for nutritious food while working to address hunger at its root.

Volunteer Roles:

Volunteers play a vital role in Metro Caring's success and the impact that we are able to provide with our community. Here is a list of volunteer positions for our fresh foods market.

  • The Front End: Front end Volunteers are the first point of contact with excellent customer service skills for community members. Bilingual volunteers are needed.
  • Food Access (Market): Market Volunteers are involved in our fresh foods market experience. The roles range from customer service and stationary to active and lifting.
  • Food Access (Warehouse): Warehouse Volunteers work directly with all our food that is coming in. These roles ensure the quality of the food we are distributing to community.
