About the Event

Each week refugees take English language classes and study for the Citizenship exam at Project Worthmore. A few hours of babysitting is provided while the refugees attend class. Volunteers are needed to support the babysitting program by playing with children, reading and drawing. Volunteers can pick any date and time listed below.

Babysitters are needed for these days:

Mondays: 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Mondays: 3 to 4:30 p.m.
Mondays: 4 to 6 p.m. (during citizenship study class)

Tuesdays: 10:45 to 12:45. (during Together Tuesday)

Wednesdays: 9 a.m to 1 p.m.
Wednesdays: 3 to 4:30 p.m.

Thursdays: 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Thursdays: 3 to 4:30 p.m.

Volunteers should be at least 15 years old.  Completing a background check form is required. Email Marlene@projectworthmore.org to get the link to the background check form and confirm your volunteer hours.
