Angel Covers is a small, volunteer-run non-profit supporting impoverished children worldwide. We are looking for 1-2 interns in the following areas. This will be a great opportunity to explore the different responsibilities of a nonprofit and experience how small-org members all contribute to the cause!

- Updates: Making updates as needed

Adding info: Assistance with adding information or pages

eCommerce: Adding eCommerce functionality if that is needed

Links: Ensure that links to outside service providers are up-to-date and functions properly

Misc: Other needs for the website as comes up/necessary
Marketing & Social Media:

Perspective/Outreach: Bring fresh methods to our marketing strategy during board brainstorm sessions. Find opportunities for brand and online presence.

Research: Research and analysis on latest marketing trends.

Branding: Review and discuss brand.

Social media: Write copy for social media posts and compose organic content. Monitor social media platforms for trends, ideas, and feedback. Contribute to the creation of mock-ups, email campaigns, and social media content.

Newsletter: Create monthly newsletters

Misc: Assist with development and implementation of any improvements
Sponsorship Coordination:

Collab: Work closely with the AC Education Director to assess and address sponsorship needs throughout the GATE Program.

Communicate: Liaise with onsite managers to understand program needs.

Report: Monitor on-going sponsorship problems for children in AC programs, including weekly, monthly, and yearly expenses, as well as one-time sponsorship needs. Produce documentation (reports) for this oversight. Includes basic quantitative and qualitative analysis, on a quarterly basis at minimum.

Promote: Promote GATE sponsorships through the website, newsletters, social media groups, or other avenues.

Update Sponsors: Provide timely updates to sponsors throughout the duration of the program.

Facilitate: Facilitate all student-to-sponsor communication, including spotlights on student stories, outreach emails, translation of student letters, multimedia updates, etc.

Innovate: Assess sponsorship model, perform basic competitive research, and suggest improvements as appropriate.

Performs other related duties as required.
Preferred Qualifications:

Current enrollment in an undergraduate course for Marketing, Communications or similar field.

Familiarity with marketing computer software and social media platforms including Mailchimp.

Good understanding of the latest marketing trends and techniques.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Must have a passion for marketing and humanitarian work.

Strong work-ethic and can-do attitude.

Compensation: This position will be at minimum 16 weeks (one semester) and compensated through a small stipend of $1000, with the opportunity for a $250 bonus after a 9 month commitment.
