Food For Thought Denver
Because they're all our kids!
You can make a difference in the lives of Denver's hungriest children! Your gift will be used to purchase non-perishable food to fill "Powersacks" for Denver Public School students. The bags will go home with over 4,000 students each Friday, providing enough food to feed a family of four for the weekend. Help these students with their most basic needs so they can learn and grow! Each PowerSack costs $4 to fill will 9-13 non-perishable items $16 will provide 1 PowerSack weekly for a month $128 will provide 1 PowerSack weekly for a year $400 will provide 1 PowerSack for a class for one month $1,250 will provide PowerSacks to all the students in one school for one week $2,500 will provide PowerSacks to all the students in two schools for one week.

Donations are processed by Helping Habit, PBC. As a Public Benefit Corporation, our mission is to provide nonprofit organizations with as many services as we can for little to no cost. Not only does covering the processing fees allow for the organization to receive all of your donation, but it also allows Helping Habit to provide additional free services to nonprofits in your community.
