Jeffco Eats is actively looking for 2-3 HEALTHY and strong people that can help us with:

•       Moving all empty bins down to the packing area

•       Set up tables that will be used for packing

•       Help move food we are packing from our storage room to the pack room

•       Rearrange food within our storage place

•       Re-packing new bins back into the storage place that the packers packed that morning; up to 700 per week is packed

•       Unloading our 14-FT U-Haul truck that comes from the Food Bank of the Rockies every week with cases of non-perishable food; enough to pack 900 bags

You must be able to lift heavy items. We meet every Friday morning from 8:00am until Noon.

We are located in the lower level of Hope Crossing Church, 3000 S. Wadsworth Blvd Lakewood

CO. Loading and unloading will be done out of the North parking lot, located next to the Sinclair Gas Station. Dollies and wagons are available, but please bring your own mask, and work gloves.  Wear casual/comfy work clothes, closed-toed shoes are highly recommended. NOTE: Temperatures will be taken. Also, we are currently only certifying community/school hours, we have not been approved to certify court ordered hours.
