Help Jeffco Eats provide fresh vegetables and fruits to families in our community facing financial challenges and food insecurity. We need up to 10 HEALTHY people every Wednesday to help with the following activities: 

• Sort bulk produce, such as potatoes, onions, carrots, oranges, etc.

• Weigh and bag produce into 6-10 lb servings

• Move bulk produce from loading area to sorting areas

• Double-bag empty grocery bags

• Light cleaning, such as sweeping and disinfecting tables

We meet every Wednesday at Gold Crown Sports Complex: 150 S. Harlan Street, Lakewood, CO (NW corner of the building near S Harlan & W Bayaud Ave). Parking is free and ample. Small groups and older children are welcome with an adult. The work area is very spacious and we observe social-distancing guidelines. Please bring your own mask! Gloves will be provided. Wear casual/comfy work clothes, closed-toed shoes are recommended.
