Patriot Pairs Monitoring program is to provide academic mentoring to selected low-income GW students This is a 4-year commitment of a GW Freshman through graduation. Meeting weekly on Weds from 7:30-9:00 AM during the school year (Sept-May) This one-one mentoring with a focus on 1. Relationship building, 2. Communications, 3. Establishing Trust, 4. Academic advising, 5. Friendship, 6. Advocacy and teaching self-advocacy, 7 Establishing trust with the family, 8. Homework or study help,9.
