Description
Patriot Pairs Monitoring program is to provide academic mentoring to selected low-income GW students This is a 4-year commitment of a GW Freshman through graduation. Meeting weekly on Weds from 7:30-9:00 AM during the school year (Sept-May) This one-one mentoring with a focus on 1. Relationship building, 2. Communications, 3. Establishing Trust, 4. Academic advising, 5. Friendship, 6. Advocacy and teaching self-advocacy, 7 Establishing trust with the family, 8. Homework or study help,9. May provide transportation, 10, May refer to other student resources, 11 Engage in cultural or other community activities For more info go to link below or call Regina Jackson
