Description

Join Project Worthmore to make a difference in the East Colfax community and with refugees! Our Food Delivery shifts are a hands-on way to get involved in your community while helping others. Not only do we repurpose fresh fruits and veggies that would otherwise be wasted, we also address food insecurity in the Denver area and support over 140 refugee families in need each week. Spending just 1-2 hours to drive and deliver bags to 12-15 households allows us to distribute over a thousand pounds of culturally-relevant food weekly to help families as they settle in Denver as their new home. Volunteers must be fully vaccinated, use their own vehicle, be 18+, and pass a valid background check (email Marlene@projectworthmore.org to start one if it is your first time delivering with us). We follow the most up-to-date COVID protocols by wearing masks when picking up your food and route and when delivering bags. Sign up to get involved or email Marlene@projectworthmore.org with any questions.
